The Four Freedoms of DEIB
Our primary holistic DEIB training is titled The Four Freedoms of DEIB. Each of the four freedoms helps individuals flourish at work. High-status group members often have more access to these freedoms (principles) than those in traditionally marginalized groups. This training will explain the four freedoms and give practical applications for leaders to foster an ecosystem where all realize these freedoms.
1. Freedom of Diversity: The freedom to embrace and celebrate the unique identities, backgrounds, and perspectives of individuals within an organization.
2. Freedom of Equity: The freedom to ensure fairness, equal opportunities, and treatment for all individuals, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.
3. Freedom of Inclusion: The freedom to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their ideas and perspectives.
4. Freedom of Belonging: The freedom to foster a sense of belonging and community within an organization, where individuals feel accepted, supported, and connected to their colleagues and the broader community.
